Marine Engineering Pathway: Free workshop for KS3 pupils!

18 July 2018

The Sea Cadets in partnership with Seafarers UK are delighted to be able to offer your school the chance to book the Marine Engineering Pathway (MEP) workshops. This unique opportunity is only available to a limited number of schools and is totally free of charge!

The Sea Cadets are a vibrant national charity delivering life changing nautical adventure and the best possible head start in life for young people through nautical adventure and fun.

Our fun, hands-on sessions teach pupils about the principles of engineering through team challenges.  Using real-life scenarios, pupils are tasked with designing and creating an engineering solution. Each workshop lasts approximately 120 minutes and is classroom based. Additionally, we have our purpose built engineering pod which we can bring on to your school grounds.

The MEP workshops support the PSHE and Science curricula for England, Wales and Scotland and are aimed at pupils in KS3.
