Win £2000 to take your school environmental studies from paper to project!

The objective of this Award is to encourage & educate primary school aged children on environmental awareness & actions by exploring & suggesting an environmentally themed project. The winning school, thanks to sponsor BOC, can then deliver the project aided by the £2,000 prize fund they receive. Do you know a primary school that could benefit from this award?

Previous winners include Ingleby Mill Primary School…

...Ingleby Mill Primary boasted an amazing outdoor learning environment, however it wasn’t being utilised to its full potential so staff decided to look to the NEPIC Awards to help fund some much needed changes. So the children set to task developing plans for an exciting outside learning environment project.

They decided that they would really like… an outside reading area, type fun area, music area, mini beach, mud kitchen, dinosaur land, water wall, weaving area, forest activities, bird hide and growing wall...  and went on to develop mood boards for each area. The materials and equipment - both new and upcycled - required to take the children’s ideas and designs from concept to reality were identified. Following their award win they are now busy creating each and every innovative area suggested, providing curriculum enrichment for all of the school’s pupils for many years to come.
