A live virtual event in conjunction with Careers Week 2021, designed to guide young people in decisions about their future career.
About this Event
In order to help young people make the right decisions about their future career path, it is essential that they have access to authentic and relevant experiences of the world of work in order to gain relevant insight, knowledge and skills. These events will provide essential support for young people in considering and pursuing their career choices and inspire them to make better informed decisions about their future.
Founders4Schools invites you to join this event where we bring together industry professionals from a range of sectors: Environment & Energy, Food & Drink, Financial Services, Engineering & Manufacturing and Science & Tech to talk to students about what it takes to have a fulfilling and successful career in these industries. F4S has partnered with Hitachi ABB, Innovate UK, Sage & 100 Women in Finance (any other partners/funders?) to present these events.
Teachers can join the CPD sessions and Parents are welcome to observe the sessions.

Session 4: 12:00 - 12:30 Maths4Girls – The importance of Maths in any Career(For students 11-18 years - Teachers/Parents are welcome to observe)
Inspire students with successful business role models who share their passion for maths and how they use it in their career as well as everyday life
Session 5: 12:45 - 13:15 Relatable Role Models & Unconscious Bias (For teachers and careers leads)
We are putting a spotlight on the importance of relatable role models for young people and how to avoid unconscious bias.
Session 6: 13:30 - 14:00 Spotlight: Engineering & Manufacturing(For students 11-18 years - Teachers/Parents are welcome to observe.)
