The North East STEM Hub are delighted to announce Capita as a sponsor of the North East STEM Awards taking place virtually on Thursday 15th July and hosted by TV celebrity and author Dallas Campbell.

This is the first time in our region that an awards ceremony has been dedicated to North East companies and individuals going out of their way to deliver STEM activities to young people and their teachers. Despite the global pandemic, many organisations have adapted and developed innovative ways of delivering exciting activities to young people and their teachers. Claire Willis, STEM Business Development Manager, said:

“The awards are all about celebrating and recognising STEM Ambassadors and STEM organisations who through their interaction have made a real difference to the lives of young people and their teachers in our region. We are delighted that Capita are one of our corporate sponsors and we look forward to working with them in the weeks leading up to the event.”

Jennifer Chamley, Responsible Business Lead, Capita said: “Capita is thrilled to be sponsoring the North East STEM Awards.
“We are lucky to have so many enthusiastic STEM Ambassadors within our organisation who support and enthuse incredible students, so to play a part in the celebration of STEM in the North East is very exciting. Good luck to everybody.”
