We are the STEM Ambassador Hub North East England covering Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham and Tees Valley.
Our vision is a World-Leading STEM Education for All Young People.
STEM Ambassadors from a wide range of STEM backgrounds, volunteer their time and support to promote STEM subjects and inspire our young learners. Using a vast range of original, creative, practical and engaging methods these STEM role models help young people truly understand the real world applications of STEM subjects. With a network of over a thousand dedicated and inspiring volunteers in the North East, the STEM Hub works hard to support the STEM curriculum, raise awareness of STEM careers as well as motivate and bring learning to life.
The STEM Ambassador Hub works in close partnership with our local Science Learning Partnerships (SLPs) who provide a fantastic and wide range of teacher CPD and curriculum support.
